Save $200 on the 2026 M5 MacBook Air right now, undoing Apple's June price hike with prices starting from $1,099

Amazon is currently offering the 2026 MacBook Air equipped with Apple's M5 processor at prices that undo the $200 increase Apple imposed in June. The entry-level model with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage is available for $1,099, while configurations with more capacity are priced at $1,399 for the 16GB/1TB variant and $1,599 for the 24GB/1TB option. All three configurations are receiving identical $200 reductions from their post-June pricing.

The MacBook Air maintains its reputation for industrial design and build quality, which accounts for its strong market position. The 13.6-inch base model arrives with 16GB of unified memory and a 512GB solid-state drive as standard. Apple's M5 processor features a 10-core CPU paired with a 10-core GPU, delivering incremental performance improvements over the previous M4 generation.

Connectivity features include an N1 wireless chip supporting Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6 standards. The display is a 13.6-inch Liquid Retina panel, complemented by a 12MP Center Stage camera designed for video conferencing and Touch ID for biometric authentication.

All three configurations share identical design and the same M5 chip, with pricing differences reflecting storage and memory upgrades. The available color options are Sky Blue, Starlight (yellow), and Silver across all models.

Amazon periodically offers modest discounts on Apple products, but these $200 reductions represent a significant opportunity. The discounts directly offset the price increases Apple implemented in June, and these rates are not available through Apple's direct sales channels. However, inventory appears limited in certain configurations, particularly the Sky Blue variant of the base model, and Apple could adjust its pricing structure at any moment.
