The Silicon Ledger is a daily digest of technology industry news. We follow Big Tech strategy, the semiconductor supply chain, the economics of software and the regulation being written around all three, and publish short, readable summaries every weekday.
Editorial standards
The newsroom monitors dozens of publications, company newsrooms and regulators every day and selects the stories that matter to our readers. Each story is written and checked by the editorial team against the original report before publication; the newsroom uses automation to monitor sources and prepare drafts, and an editor is responsible for every text that goes live. The original source is linked at the bottom of every story so it can always be read in full.
Our standards
- We summarise, we do not copy. Quotes are attributed to the publication they came from.
- We do not invent figures, names or events. If a summary fails our checks, it is not published.
