ABS Gaming PC with RTX 5070 Ti and 9800X3D Drops to $2,549.99 at Newegg
A pre-built machine from Newegg's ABS brand featuring AMD's top gaming CPU and Nvidia's current-generation flagship GPU is now available at a $450 discount.
Discounted pre-built systems remain among the strongest value propositions for gamers seeking high-end performance without assembly hassles. Newegg is currently offering the ABS Stratos II Ruby gaming PC at $2,549.99, representing a $450 reduction from its standard price. The system pairs an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti, 32GB of DDR5 memory, and a 2TB SSD.
ABS, owned by Newegg, maintains a substantial presence across the retailer's inventory. This particular configuration delivers performance positioning near the upper echelon of the market. The pairing of the 9800X3D—still among the strongest CPUs for gaming—with the RTX 5070 Ti creates a system capable of sustained high frame rates across demanding contemporary titles for years ahead.
CPU and GPU Specifications
The 9800X3D represents an eight-core AMD processor distinguished by its 3D V-cache architecture. This technology expands L3 cache to 96MB, reducing instances where the CPU must access slower system RAM. The result is decreased latency and more consistent frame rates during gameplay. While no longer topping CPU benchmark charts, the 9800X3D remains the primary recommendation for most gamers, with no direct Intel competitor matching its gaming performance profile.
The Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti, built on the Blackwell architecture, contains 8,960 CUDA cores and 16GB of GDDR7 memory. This mid- to high-tier GPU transcends 1080p gaming, excelling at 1440p and 4K resolutions. It incorporates Nvidia's latest technologies, including DLSS with multi-frame generation, enabling 4K gameplay with ray tracing at high frame rates. The 16GB VRAM allocation provides substantial headroom compared to lower-tier models like the RTX 5060 or RTX 5050, which ship with 8GB.
Additional Components
The system contains no performance bottlenecks in its remaining components. Memory consists of two 16GB G.Skill Ripjaws M5 Neo RGB DDR5 modules operating at 6,000 MT/s. Storage comes from a 2TB Team Group NV5000 M.2 SSD with Gen 4 speeds, providing ample capacity for multiple large game libraries. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and Ethernet, while a Bitspower 240mm AIO liquid cooler manages CPU temperatures.
At $2,549.99, this ABS Stratos II Ruby configuration represents compelling value in today's market. The $450 discount positions it as Newegg's most affordable RTX 5070 Ti gaming PC currently available. Given the strength of this offer, rapid inventory depletion is likely.
